I was at a stagnant point with my weight and exercise was no longer working. My health was failing, and I was tired of taking at least 15 different meds a day. Before surgery I felt tired, drained, on lots of medication, unable to move around like I wanted to. My preop experience was educational, supportive and a smooth process.
